Mentor Programs

Randi Ross Entertainment & Consulting, Inc., RREC recognizes that its doors to success were opened by the leadership and assistance of its role models and therefore endeavors to give back to society by creating inroads to success for today’s youth.

Our MISSION: is to cultivate talented youth with limited opportunities and provide environments which increase their access to professional internships, employment, entrepreneurship or continued education.

Our AIM: is to empower these youth to reach their peak performance so that they can realize their goals and dreams. We will help them establish professional mentoring relationships for guidance and support. And, involve them in events that will enhance their knowledge of the possibilities available in the entertainment, media, communications and business industries.

Our ACTIVITIES: Since 1998, we have targeted the youth of the Bronx Community Colleges’ Upward Bound program. We have involved these youth in activities that deal with issues like: self-empowerment, personal financing, e-business, entrepreneurship, health & fitness, nutrition, and more. To encourage continued education and development, we award two high school graduating seniors with college scholarships.

In our mentoring program these youth:

  • Participate in our Annual Women's 3-day Business Conference to gain exposure to the business world and meet potential professional mentors.
  • Gain on the job training experience as RREC Conference Staff.
  • Are recipients of an awards ceremony honoring those who have successfully completed secondary school and are scheduled to embark on a post-secondary education.
  • Participate in a series of workshops geared specifically toward student participation and development.
  • Obtain internships within the media & other professional industries.
